Pop Up Pool
We are excited to have our own Pop up Pool within school, provided by Beyond the Physical.
Children throughout years 3 and 4 will have intensive swimming lessons during the second half of the Autumn term (November-December).
These lessons will take place in a pool which will be erected on our key stage 2 playground. All children will swim daily for 3 weeks (15 sessions) in small groups.
The sessions will be led by trained swim coaches who will assess children daily and provide feedback on each child’s progress.
The pool is a solid structure which will be heated, and there will be opportunities for children, throughout school, to sign up for extra-curricular swimming sessions which will take place after school, such as water confidence sessions for children in key stage one and water polo for older children.
