Our Careers Fair took place on Friday 24th April. We had lots of members of our community visit school to talk about their jobs. This included some of our parents, as well as business owners and workers from Garforth Main Street, who agreed to take part after our wonderful Community Champions visited their businesses and delivered a letter of invitation.
We had a dancer, accountants, a lecturer, opticians, a train driver, and a sports coach and many others amongst our visitors. Every child from Year 1 to Year 6 took part, and all came away having learned a bit more about some of the jobs that are out there. Our visitors had a brilliant time too, and all spoke highly of the children's behaviour, manners and intelligent lines of questioning. Thank you so much to all of those who gave up their time to attend!
